The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has launched a laptop scheme that will provide free laptops to students across the country. History of Prime Minister Laptop Scheme
The Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2023 is a flagship initiative of the PMLNs government to provide free laptops to the students of public universities. Later PTI government ended the scheme but now Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has relaunched this famous scheme for talented students of Pakistan. Although the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2023 is for UG to PG students but limited number of laptops will be provided to UG students as focus of this scheme will be on graduate and postgraduate students. It has also been decided that no picture of Mian Muhammd Shahbaz Sharif will be displayed on laptops. For the first phase of this scheme funds of 10 billion PKR have been reserved and later on more funds will be provided. We congratulate the distance learning students of Allama Iqbal Open University and Virtual University of Pakistan for becoming eligible for Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2023.
